SOC reporting, the more rigorous successor to SAS 70 auditing standards, entails careful review of a company’s procedures, and is designed to assure the highest levels of data security, availability, and process integrity. Conducted by certified third-party auditors, the SOC 2 Type 2 report is issued only after reviewing, testing, and documenting the company’s relevant policies and procedures.
