Advanced Address Correction

Benefits of Advanced Address Correction

  • Tests have indicated a 14% lift in NCOALink matches

  • Reduces cost per mailpiece - printing, lettershop, postage

  • Build a better image by mailing fewer duplicates

  • Improves deliverability and increases response rates

AAC is additional processing that will attempt to correct records that fail to ZIP + 4® code. Addresses that do not ZIP + 4 code during the initial CASS™ process will be passed against the AAC file. Name and address information is compared to Experian's proprietary data. When a match to a more correct or complete address is made, the address from Experian data is utilized to correct or repair the incoming record. The record is then passed back to the ZIP + 4 software for appropriate coding. This service can be used to repair house lists or rental lists.

Any time you request NCOALink processing with Lorton Data you can request AAC.

Example:
Input Data:
John Lorton
2125 Hennepin Ave
Minneapolis MN 55413
ZIP + 4 Data File:
2125 E Hennepin Ave
and 2125 W Hennepin Ave
Proprietary Data File:
John Lorton
2125 E Hennepin Ave
Minneapolis MN 55413

The Experian data has John Lorton at a complete address. This additional data identified the missing directional so the record can now be ZIP + 4 coded.

Output Data:
John Lorton
2125 E Hennepin Ave
Minneapolis MN 55413-2717
