Delivery Sequence File Second Generation(DSF2)

DSF²™ (Identifies Deliverable Addresses and Specific Address Attributes)

DSF² Processing is available through USPS^® DSF² licensees. The DSF² file contains over 165 million U.S. delivery points. The database was created by compiling the delivery information from all USPS mail carriers. The mail carriers provide the delivery point address; the type of delivery (business vs. residential); seasonal addresses; the type of mail receptacle (mailbox on curb, mail slot in door, etc.), and the sequence the mail is delivered in. DSF² provides valuable information such as Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) identification and vacant address identification.

Effective immediately a PAF must be completed for DSF² processing.
