Email communication is an efficient and cost effective way to communicate to your target audience. When you need to add an email address to a name and address record on your current list, use Lorton Data’s Email Append service.
Lorton Data obtains an email address by matching your input name and mailing address to a proprietary database of name, mailing address and email information. When a match is made, an email address is received. There are two levels of match requests:
Match rates will vary based on several factors including the age and quality of the input data. Also, there are varying levels of source files, and the more extensive the source files, the higher the match rate. For a residential file, a typical match rate may be 15 to 45 percent.
After the matching is complete, an email is sent to each email address that was appended. The message allows the recipient to opt-out if they do not wish to receive future email communication from you.
Email suppression file
When Lorton Data returns your file, you will receive email addresses for those who will accept your emails and for those who choose to Opt-Out. Be sure to flag those who chose to Opt-Out, or start an email Suppression file, so you do not send them future email correspondence.
What else should I know?
Any email communications must comply with the Can Spam Act (S.877) of 2003.
