Direct Marketing Account Executive

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Account Executive generates revenue by developing sales and marketing strategies, prospecting, generating leads, making contacts, qualifying opportunities, developing and proposing solutions, and forecasting and closing sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies market opportunities and business potential by qualifying leads and accounts
  • Produces sales by strategizing, planning, prospecting, scheduling appointments, understanding business needs, developing proposals, making presentations, and closing sales
  • Builds rapport with potential clients, customers, and industry representatives while promoting the benefits of our solutions and service capabilities
  • Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing additional solutions and services
  • Contributes information to our corporate marketing strategy by monitoring the competition and customer needs/demands
  • Recommends new solutions and services by identifying market opportunities
  • Remains current with technical, sales, and business knowledge by participating in educational / industry events
  • Exhibits and attends trade shows and conferences
  • Meets or exceeds established annual sales quotas
  • Strives for customer elation
  • Communicates significant issues and exceptions to an appropriate staff within the organization in a timely manner. In this case the Director of Business Development or President of the company.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned

  • Significant knowledge and experience in direct marketing services sales and practices
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet presentation tools
