Online NCOALink® Processing Acknowledgement Form (PAF) Released by Lorton Data

Paperless system allows users of mailing software to efficiently and securely complete annual filing requirement

Minneapolis, MN —  June 2, 2009 — Lorton Data, a leader in data quality and management services, today announced the release of ePAF™ - an electronic version of the Processing Acknowledgement Form. ePAF is available to users of any mailing software program to access Lorton Data NCOALink services.  Typically, the Processing Acknowledgement Form must be printed, filled out manually and faxed to service providers. This new online system is easier, quicker and more secure because it enables customers to complete the entire process via the internet; data input, form submission, approval and digital storage.  ePAF is accessible directly from Lorton Data or through third party list processors such as mailing service bureaus, letter shops and printers.

As a full service licensee of the United States Postal Service®, Lorton Data must annually collect completed Processing Acknowledgement Forms from each list owner and third party list processor prior to providing them with NCOALink processing services. This requirement fulfills rules set forth in the 1974 Privacy Act. Lorton Data offers the NCOALink service as a method for mailers to cost effectively meet the Move Update requirement created by the USPS® to reduce undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) mail.

“We’re  excited to offer  ePAF to our customers and to third party list agents and processors,” states Ray Davey, president of Lorton Data.  “The online system not only makes meeting Postal Service Move Update requirements more efficient and more secure, it also streamlines the annual renewal process – a real time savings for our larger customers.”

The ePAF system is available at no charge.
